Legal
Acceptable use policy
Linkubit sends messages on your behalf. What you send reflects on every other sender on the platform, so this policy is enforced rather than published.
Draft — review required before launch
This text is written against what the system actually does, and every company-specific detail is left as a {{PLACEHOLDER}} to be filled in. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer, and DPDP and GDPR exposure here is real. Do not publish it as-is.

At a glance
- Message people who would recognise why you are contacting them, and stop the moment they ask.
- No purchased, scraped or rented lists — ever, on any channel.
- Cold email needs your own verified domain; the shared tier is service and transactional only, enforced in the database.
- Every message passes an outbound gate that checks consent, suppression, sending tier and pause state before it leaves.
- The AI agent will not deny being an AI, and that is not configurable.
1. The short version
Message people who would recognise why you are contacting them. Stop when they ask. Do not buy lists. Everything below is a longer way of saying that.
2. Never permitted
- Purchased, scraped or rented contact lists
- Messaging anyone who has opted out, on any channel, for any reason
- Misrepresenting who you are, including sender names or reply addresses designed to look like someone else
- Adult content, gambling, unlicensed financial services, unapproved pharmaceuticals, or anything unlawful where the recipient is
- Malware, phishing, or credential harvesting of any kind
- Using the AI agent to deny being an AI when someone asks directly. Our reply verifier refuses this, and it is not configurable
3. Cold outbound
Cold email is permitted from a domain you own and have verified, on a lawful basis, to a business contact with a plausible interest in what you sell. It is not permitted from our shared sending domain — that tier is service and transactional only, and the restriction is enforced by a database constraint as well as by the send path, so it is not something support can waive.
- Every email carries one-click unsubscribe. Always
- Unsubscribes take effect immediately and permanently
- Sender identity must be accurate and reply addresses must work
- A physical address is required in commercial email where the recipient's law requires it
4. WhatsApp
WhatsApp is governed by Meta's Business Messaging Policy as well as this one, and their rules are stricter than email in ways that matter.
- Outside the 24-hour window that opens when someone messages you, only a template Meta has approved may be sent. Our composer will not let you send anything else
- Marketing templates require the recipient to have opted in, and Meta reviews the wording
- Repeated blocks or reports will degrade your number's quality rating, and Meta may restrict it independently of anything we do
5. What we enforce, and how
| Control | How it works here |
|---|---|
| Outbound gate | Every message — campaign, agent reply, notification — is checked for consent, suppression, sending tier and pause state before it leaves. Channel adapters check none of this, so nothing can route around it |
| Sending caps | Daily and lifetime limits on the shared tier. Past them, your own verified domain is required rather than suggested |
| Automatic pause | Bounce and complaint rates above threshold pause your sending without waiting for a human to notice |
| Pre-send validation | A campaign is checked against the whole audience before the first message. The first send is where deliverability damage happens |
| Global suppression | Some suppressions apply across every account on the platform, not just the one that caused them |
6. If you breach this
7. Reporting abuse
If you received something through Linkubit that breaches this policy, tell us at {{ABUSE_EMAIL}}. To stop messages without contacting anyone, use unsubscribe or reply STOP.
