The best WhatsApp AI agent platforms in India (2026): what each AI actually does, what it costs, and where the rules live

Eight platforms that put an AI on WhatsApp, compared on what the AI does — flows, an assistant, an agent — whether it is included or an add-on, what it costs per message, and whether its rules are enforced outside the model.

In short

"AI agent" on a WhatsApp platform's pricing page can mean a keyword flow with an AI label, an assistant that answers from documents, or an agent that qualifies, quotes and books. The 9 platforms below are compared on what the AI actually does, whether it is included or an add-on, what it costs, and whether its rules are enforced outside the model — every claim from the platform's own pages on the date shown. Linkubit first, labelled as ours.

Three kinds of AI, sold under one name

A flow follows a map somebody drew and says it did not understand when the customer leaves it. An assistant answers questions from documents, and only answers. An agent pursues a goal — qualify this enquiry, book a visit — asks its own questions, writes the answers onto the record, uses tools it is allowed, and hands over when a rule says so. The agent-vs-chatbot guide has the full comparison; the entries below say which of the three each platform sells, in its own words.

Where the rules live

The question that separates an AI you can leave running overnight from one you read the transcripts of in the morning is not the model. It is whether “never quote a price not in the catalogue” is a line in the prompt or a check in code. In Linkubit it is code: a gate before every tool call, a gate before every outbound message, and a verifier that refuses a reply stating a price the turn did not retrieve. The rules guide explains the mechanism. Whether another platform does the same is not something its pricing page says; it is the question to ask on the demo.

How this list was made

Every price and claim about another platform was read from its own public pages on the date beside it, and each entry links to that page. Nothing is asserted that is not there. If something has moved, tell us. Last checked 18 September 2026.

Questions

What is the best AI agent for WhatsApp in India?

It depends on what the AI has to do. For answering questions from documents, several platforms' add-on agents do it. For selling — asking the qualifying questions, quoting only from a catalogue, opening the deal, taking the payment, handing over on a rule — Linkubit is built for that and includes it on every plan. Each entry above says what that platform's AI does, from its own pages.

How much does a WhatsApp AI agent cost?

Between nothing extra and a second subscription. Linkubit meters it in credits — one credit is one AI reply — with an allowance on every plan. AiSensy's AI Chat Agent is ₹1,350 a month for 1,000 AI messages on top of a plan; Interakt's AI agents are ₹3,000 on Growth and Advanced; Wati's Astra agents are priced separately; Zoko's are per resolution or a percentage of order value. Meta's per-message charge applies on top of all of them.

Can an AI agent be trusted to talk to customers?

If its rules are enforced outside the model — a gate before each tool call, a gate before each send, a verifier on each reply — yes, for the tasks it is given. If its rules are lines in a prompt, it follows them most of the time, and the exception reaches a customer. Ask any platform where the rule lives.
