WhatsApp for car and two-wheeler dealerships: the first reply, the honest on-road price, the test drive that gets confirmed, and the service reminder
One customer record for the buyer who filled the brand's form, messaged and walked in. The on-road price from the list with the ex-showroom figure beside it; a test drive that asks for a YES and a licence; the price conversation kept for a consultant.
A car or two-wheeler dealership answers a vehicle enquiry on WhatsApp within a minute with the consultant's name and two questions — which variant and colour, and a test drive at the showroom or at home — sends the on-road price from its price list with the ex-showroom figure beside it, books the test drive with a reminder to carry the licence, and follows the buyer through booking, loan documents, delivery and the first service. The price conversation stays with a person.

The lead that fills three forms
A buyer researching a car fills the brand's form, messages the dealership on WhatsApp from a hoarding, and walks in on Saturday. At most dealerships those are three leads for three consultants. On one customer record they are one person whose variant, colour, exchange car and finance need are already known by the time they walk in, and the consultant who greets them is the one who answered the first message.
The first reply
Within a minute: thanks for asking about the model, the consultant's name, and two questions — which variant and colour, and would they like a test drive at the showroom or at home. Variant decides the price; the test drive is the step that closes. Inside the buyer's window, so it costs nothing.
The on-road price, honestly
Once variant and city are known, the on-road figure from the price list with the ex-showroom price beside it, the breakdown (RTO, insurance, handling) attached, a validity date, and one question: want the EMI options? The number comes from the list; the assistant does not invent one and applies no discount you did not write. A buyer who asks for a better price, an exchange value or a corporate scheme is handed to a consultant with everything captured so far — because that conversation is the consultant's leverage, and an assistant that negotiates gives the margin away.
The test drive
- The assistant proposes slots; the confirmation carries the showroom or the buyer's address, the time, and "please carry your driving licence" — the line that saves a wasted slot.
- It asks for a YES, so a no-show becomes a reschedule the day before rather than an empty bay.
- The outcome is recorded on the pipeline by the consultant: interested, wants another variant, gone quiet.
Booking to delivery
| Moment | Message | Category |
|---|---|---|
| Booking amount received | Receipt, model and colour, booking number, delivery window, next step with a date | Utility |
| Finance file | Every document the bank needs, in one list, with a date and who files it | Utility |
| PDI done | Delivery slot, balance to clear with a link, what to bring | Utility |
| Service due | By date or odometer, with a reply to book and pick-up offered | Utility |
| A launch in the segment they asked about | One message, with the starting price | Marketing — consent, STOP, once |
After the sale
A service reminder for a vehicle the customer owns is a utility message under Meta's categories; the assistant sends it when the date or the odometer says so and books the slot from the reply. A launch message goes only to leads whose enquiry matched the segment, once, with consent and a STOP line — never to every number the showroom has collected. The quality rating guide explains what a blast costs the number.
The templates
Eight WhatsApp templates for dealerships — enquiry received, on-road price, test drive booked, booking received, loan documents, ready for delivery, service due and a matching launch. The dealership page shows the sequence running.
Can the AI quote an on-road price?
From the dealership's price list for the variant and city, with the breakdown attached — yes. It cannot discount, and it hands the thread to a consultant the moment a buyer asks for a better price, an exchange value or a corporate scheme.
Does it connect to the OEM's lead portal?
Not directly. Brand-site leads reach Linkubit as emails or WhatsApp messages and land on the same customer record as a walk-in or an ad lead. There is no DMS connector today.
Can service reminders go out without marketing consent?
Yes. A reminder about a vehicle the customer owns is utility under Meta's categories. A launch or an offer is marketing and needs opt-in.
