Wati vs AiSensy vs Interakt: pricing, message rates, AI and limits compared, and when none of the three fits
The three WhatsApp platforms Indian small businesses shortlist most, from their own pricing pages: what each plan costs, how each bills Meta's messages, what the AI is, which channels and connectors they carry, and who each one suits.
Wati, AiSensy and Interakt are the three WhatsApp platforms an Indian small business most often shortlists. On their own pricing pages as read on 18 September 2026: Wati starts at ₹2,999 a month, AiSensy at ₹1,500 after a free tier, Interakt at ₹2,799 for WhatsApp plus taxes; all three bill Meta's messages on their own rate card, and all three sell a chatbot builder with AI as an add-on or credits. If what you need is broadcasts, pick on price and connectors. If what you need is enquiries answered and closed, none of the three is built for that, and that is where Linkubit fits.

Pricing: what the subscription buys
Wati's Growth at ₹2,999 covers 3 users, no additional users with 15k broadcasts a month, 1,000 automation triggers, 2 integrations; ₹2,699 a month billed quarterly; Pro at ₹6,499 adds unlimited broadcasts, advanced chatbots, 2,000 triggers, 5 integrations; ₹5,799 a month billed quarterly. AiSensy's Basic at ₹1,500 is 1 owner + 5 agents, extra ₹750 each for broadcasting, retargeting, shared inbox, 40 messages a second. Interakt's Growth at ₹2,799 plus taxes gives unlimited agents and whatsapp + instagram, advanced workflows, catalog templates; plus taxes. On subscription alone Interakt is the cheapest way to put many agents on one number; AiSensy is the cheapest way to start broadcasting; Wati is the most expensive of the three to start.
Pricing: what the messages cost
This is the line that decides the bill and the one the plan pages say least about. All three bill you for Meta's messages on their own rate card, not Meta's published one — Wati's page says "charged based on WATI rate card", and AiSensy and Interakt route billing the same way. Meta's own India rates are ₹0.8631 for a marketing template and ₹0.115 for a utility one, before GST, and from 1 October 2026 ₹0.115 for a reply inside the window. Ask each provider for its rate card in writing and compare it to Meta's; the difference, times your monthly volume, is the number to put beside the subscription.
AI: a builder, or a salesperson
All three sell a chatbot: a flow you draw, with buttons and branches, that answers what you predicted. Wati sells AI agents as an add-on priced separately and includes some "co-pilot" credits by plan; AiSensy and Interakt add AI on top of their flow builders. None of the three is built to do what a salesperson does — read the question that was actually asked, ask for the missing detail, quote a real price from your list, and hand over when a rule says so. If the job is answering FAQs and routing, any of them will do it; if the job is closing enquiries, that is a different product. The AI agent vs chatbot guide is the distinction in full.
Limits, channels and connectors
- Wati has the widest channel list of the three — WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Instagram, TikTok, website widget, WhatsApp Business Calling — and the Shopify, Salesforce and HubSpot connectors; its top plan is built for very high broadcast throughput.
- AiSensy is WhatsApp-first with retargeting and campaign analytics, and states message-per-second throughput by plan.
- Interakt pairs WhatsApp with Instagram and RCS, offers unlimited agents on every paid plan, and splits its Sales CRM into a separate product at ₹2,499.
Who each one suits
- Wati: A marketing team that mainly sends broadcasts, wants Shopify and HubSpot connectors out of the box, and has a person to build the chatbot flows.
- AiSensy: A marketer who wants to run large WhatsApp broadcasts and Click-to-WhatsApp ads from one screen, with agents added as the team grows.
- Interakt: An Indian D2C brand on Shopify that wants WhatsApp and Instagram marketing with a Jio-backed provider, and is happy to buy the CRM as a second product.
When none of the three fits
If the reason you are looking is that enquiries arrive faster than they are answered, quotes go out late, and nobody follows up — the problem is not broadcasting, and a flow builder will not solve it. Linkubit is built for that job: an AI salesperson that answers in the first minute, qualifies on your questions, quotes only from your catalogue, takes the payment in the chat and hands over on a rule, on every plan from ₹0, with Meta's messages billed by Meta at Meta's rate and nothing added. It is ours, so weigh that; the comparison pages hold each claim to a dated source.
Which is better, Wati or AiSensy?
On subscription AiSensy is cheaper (₹1,500 against ₹2,999 a month) and has a free tier; Wati has more channels and connectors and higher throughput at the top. Both bill messages on their own rate card. Pick on the connectors you need and the message rate you are quoted.
Which is better, Wati or Interakt?
Interakt gives unlimited agents from ₹2,799 plus taxes and pairs WhatsApp with Instagram; Wati starts at ₹2,999 for a fixed number of users with a wider channel list. For a team of many people on one number, Interakt is cheaper; for connectors, Wati.
Which is cheapest: Wati, AiSensy or Interakt?
To start, AiSensy's free tier or Interakt's free Instagram plan; for a WhatsApp team, Interakt's Growth at ₹2,799 or AiSensy's Basic at ₹1,500. The message rate card decides the total at volume — ask each for it.
Do Wati, AiSensy and Interakt add a mark-up to Meta's rates?
All three bill messages on their own rate card rather than Meta's published one, on the reading of their pricing pages recorded on the comparison pages. Ask for the card and compare it to Meta's.
Is there a WhatsApp tool with an AI that actually sells?
That is what Linkubit is built as: it answers, qualifies, quotes from your catalogue and takes payment in the chat, with rules enforced in code. It is ours; the comparison pages hold it to the same dated evidence as the others.
