Official Business Account (green tick)
An Official Business Account is a WhatsApp number Meta has marked with a green tick and the business name shown in place of the number. It is granted at Meta's discretion to notable brands; Business Verification is required but does not guarantee it.

What it changes
The name shows in the chat header for everyone, even people who have not saved the number, and the green tick sits beside it. Delivery, pricing and limits are unaffected.
How to apply
From WhatsApp Manager, on a verified business, with the number's quality rating in good standing. Meta looks at press coverage, search presence and how well known the brand is; a small business is usually declined, and can reapply later.
