WhatsApp ordering and reservations for restaurants and cloud kitchens
A direct WhatsApp order costs you no marketplace commission — if somebody answers it. Linkubit takes the order from your menu at listed prices, collects the payment in the chat, confirms it, tells the customer when it leaves the kitchen, reserves tables with a reminder, and hands a catering enquiry to a person with the date, the headcount and the budget already captured.
Linkubit answers a restaurant or cloud kitchen on WhatsApp within a minute, takes an order from your menu at listed prices with the item pictures, collects payment by UPI in the chat or confirms cash on delivery with a YES, sends the confirmed and out-for-delivery updates, reserves and reminds tables, and qualifies catering enquiries on date, guests, menu and budget for a person to quote.
Qualifies on
- Order or reservation or catering
- Items and quantities, from the menu
- Delivery address and pin code, or table size and time
- Payment — UPI in chat, or COD with a YES
- For catering: date, guests, veg or non-veg, budget
- Allergies or notes for the kitchen
None of this is hardcoded. It is a schema you edit, which is why a completely different business runs on the same system.
The menu is the catalogue
Ordered at listed prices, with the picture
Every dish is a product with a price, a picture and your own fields — veg, spice level, portion. The assistant recommends from what fits, sends the picture once, and totals the order from the list. An item marked unavailable is not offered.
- A quoted price is verified before it sends
- An item the kitchen marks unavailable is not offered

Paid or confirmed before it is cooked
UPI in the chat, or a YES for cash on delivery
A prepaid order is a payment request at the menu total; a COD order holds until the customer taps YES. The confirmation, the out-for-delivery update and the delivered note are utility messages with no promotion inside.
- The kitchen sees an order only once it is paid or confirmed
- A failed delivery attempt asks for a landmark, not a return

Tables reserved and reminded
A reservation is three fields — date, time, party size — a confirmation with the address once the floor has said yes, and a reminder two hours ahead asking for a YES so a no-show becomes a freed table.
Catering goes to a person, qualified
Date, headcount, veg or non-veg, service style and budget are captured; a rule hands the enquiry to your catering manager with all of it on the record.
Subscriptions and repeat orders
A tiffin or a meal plan is a product with a renewal date; the reminder goes with the amount and a link, and a 'same as last time' order is understood from the record.
From "menu?" to a delivered order
What a direct order looks like when the menu, the payment, the confirmation and the updates are handled, and the kitchen handles the food.
The menu, and a recommendation
"Menu?" gets the menu PDF from your catalogue and one question — veg or non-veg, or delivery or pickup — and a suggestion from what is available today.
The order, totalled from the list
Items and quantities captured, the picture of a dish sent once when it is named, the total from listed prices, the address and pin code confirmed.
Paid, or a YES
A UPI payment request at the total, or a COD confirmation with a YES button. The kitchen sees the order only once one of them lands.
Confirmed, out for delivery, delivered
Three utility messages, no promotion inside. A failed attempt asks for a landmark or a better time; a wrong item goes to a person with the order in the thread.
The next order
A 'same as last time' is understood from the record; a weekend special goes only to customers who opted in, with a STOP line.
The templates a restaurant sends
Four WhatsApp message templates for restaurants and cloud kitchens — order confirmed, order out for delivery, table reservation confirmed, and a catering quote ready. Each is written the way Meta's review reads it.
| Template | Category | When it goes out |
|---|---|---|
| Order confirmed | Utility | When a direct order is paid, or a COD order is confirmed with a YES. |
| Order ready | Utility | When the order leaves the kitchen. |
| Reservation confirmed | Utility | Once the floor has said yes to a reservation request. |
| Catering quote ready | Utility | When the catering manager has priced an enquiry the assistant qualified. |
Each template opens on its own page with the variables, a filled example and what Meta’s review objects to. Utility and authentication templates cost ₹0.115 a message in India, marketing ₹0.8631 — the pricing guide has the rest.
Questions restaurants ask
Is this a replacement for Swiggy and Zomato?
It is a direct channel beside them: orders on your own WhatsApp number, from your menu, at your prices, with no commission. Your existing delivery partner or your own riders deliver.
How does payment work?
A UPI request in the chat through your own gateway account, or cash on delivery confirmed with a YES before the kitchen starts. The receipt goes into the thread.
Can it take a table reservation?
Yes — date, time and party size captured, the request on the floor manager's task list, a confirmation with the address once they say yes, and a reminder two hours ahead asking for a YES. A no-show becomes a freed table.
What about catering and bulk orders?
Captured on date, headcount, menu preference and budget, then handed to your catering manager with all of it on the record. The assistant does not quote a catering price unless your list has one.
