Why a campaign says "waiting on the number", "the mailbox" or "the account"
A campaign member that has not been sent is waiting for one of three things. What each one means, and whether you need to do anything.
Waiting on the number: your WhatsApp number reached Meta's daily messaging limit, and sending resumes on its own. Waiting on the mailbox: the mailbox reached today's allowance. Waiting on the account: the workspace is out of credits or its subscription is not active — top up or renew and it resumes.
| Reason | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Waiting on the number | Meta's 24-hour limit for your business has been reached, or Meta asked Linkubit to slow down. | Nothing — it resumes as the window rolls and as Meta raises your tier. Verifying your business raises the limit. |
| Waiting on the mailbox | The mailbox sent its share of today's allowance. Campaigns get 80%; the rest is kept for the agent's replies. New mailboxes ramp from 50 a day. | Nothing — it resumes tomorrow. Spread big sends over days. |
| Waiting on the account | The workspace has no credits left, or its plan lapsed. | Plan & billing › Top up, or renew. Members resume within a minute. |
A member who opted out, is suppressed or was blocked is stopped, not waiting. Meta's limits are explained in WhatsApp quality rating and messaging limits.
