Design your emails: logo, colour, footer and signature

Set your logo, brand colour, header, footer and signature once, and every campaign email and reply goes out in them — with a test you can send yourself.

In short

In Settings › Email › Email design, add a business name, logo, brand colour, a header, a footer and a signature. Campaign emails use the full design; replies from the agent and your team use the lighter reply layout with your signature. Put an unsubscribe link in the footer — campaign emails need it. Press Send me a test to see it.

The fields

FieldWhat it does
Business nameShown in place of a logo when there is none, and as the logo's alt text
LogoPNG or JPEG under 500 KB, shown about 48 pixels tall at the top of campaign emails
Brand colourThe bar above the logo, and links (a hex code, like #111827)
HeaderOptional; a line under the logo on campaign emails — a tagline or an offer
FooterOn every email: company name, address, phone, website. Include the unsubscribe link
SignatureOn replies only — from the agent and from your team in the inbox

Header, footer and signature accept Markdown. In the footer, add a link whose address is the placeholder {{unsubscribe_url}} (in Markdown, the word Unsubscribe linked to it) — campaign emails need it, and replies drop it automatically.

Test it

Press Save design ("Email design saved"), then Send me a test: it sends the variant of the preview tab you are on — Campaign email or Reply — to your own address. The test is disabled until the design has been saved at least once, because it sends what is saved.

If the design can't be read

An email still goes out if a stored design can't be used — it just goes without the styling, never fails to send.
